Crucible Energy Accepted into Prestigious CleanTech Open 2025 Accelerator Program

Crucible Energy, a leader in AI-driven sustainable energy solutions, has been selected to participate in the CleanTech Open (CTO) 2025 Accelerator, the world‘s largest cleantech accelerator program. This acceptance marks a significant milestone for Crucible as it continues to innovate in superconducting grid technologies and self-healing networks to accelerate the global transition to renewable energy.

Since its founding in 2005, CleanTech Open has trained over 4,000 entrepreneurs from more than 2,100 early-stage startups, helping them raise over $3 billion in equity and navigate the challenges of cleantech innovation. The 2025 CTO Accelerator focuses on key sectors including energy generation, distribution, efficiency, advanced materials, ICT, green building, transportation, agriculture, and water/waste management. Participants benefit from a 12-week intensive curriculum of workshops, boot camps, and webinars emphasizing customer discovery, business modeling, and product development—often described as a “mini-MBA” for sustainability startups.

“We are thrilled to join the CleanTech Open 2025 cohort,” said Samuel Goff, Founder and CEO of Crucible Energy. “This program aligns perfectly with our mission to deploy AI-optimized, zero-loss systems that make renewables cheaper and more reliable. The mentorship, network, and resources will supercharge our efforts to scale superconducting mesh networks globally.”

The accelerator offers tailored mentoring from experienced experts, access to a vast cleantech network, and opportunities to compete for up to $150,000 in cash prizes and $50,000 in in-kind services through regional and national finals. With an acceptance rate of 30-50%, the program prioritizes early-stage companies with less than $2 million in private funding, fostering diverse teams – 76% of recent cohorts include BIPOC and/or women members. Crucible will participate in mandatory events, including the National Academy in May/June 2025 and the Global Forum in October 2025, alongside weekly engagements from June to August.

Crucible Energy‘s participation comes at a pivotal time, as the company leverages multi-agent AI for grid simulations, digital twinning, and blockchain-tracked energy provenance to address outages which cost half a trillion dollars annually.
